The “short” trail is a race in the DNA of the Grand Trail de Serre-Ponçon, offering over 18 km and 510 m D+/-, the lake and the mountains as a backdrop. On Sunday, September 17, the route starts from Savines-Le-Lac, the port city of the Serre-Ponçon lake, to rise towards the first slopes of the Pic de Morgon, iconic totem of this beautiful country of water and lights. At mid-slope, the course curves towards the forest of Boscodon and reaches the Embrun lake via the “remarkable” Liou area, then the bridge over the Durance, a magnificent architectural gesture, and ends at the edge of the lake, on a finish line common to the six courses of the Grand Trail de Serre-Ponçon.
